Along with ancestor spirits, Kuy have confidence in other character spirits such as that of the watch lizard (takuat) which they think to generally be symbol of fertility. The Kuy perform ceremonies to propitiate the takuat spirit and request fertility from nature. They might also take the tail of your lizard to implement in divination ceremonies.
